The TR-830 is a lithium-ion battery pack designed for the TR-800 series PAPRs. It charges quickly, includes a charge level indicator, and securely attaches to the TR-802N PAPR blower motor using a mechanical connection, meeting the latest UL standard (8th edition UL 913) for Intrinsically Safe PAPRs.

The TR-830 lithium-ion battery pack, built for the TR-800 series PAPRs, offers rapid charging and a charge level indicator. It uses a mechanical attachment to the TR-802N PAPR blower motor, complying with the current UL standard (UL 60079, 6th Edition, 2013) for Intrinsically Safe PAPRs. The package includes the TR-838 Battery Attachment Tool. When equipped with a new TR-830 Intrinsically Safe Battery and a new filter, the TR-800 PAPR assembly can run for 6-10 hours, depending on the system configuration. The runtime varies based on battery age, filter loading, cartridge selection, and selected air flow settings. This battery provides about 750 full charge/discharge cycles while maintaining 80% of its original capacity, doubling the cycle life of standard non-IS 3M™ Versaflo™ batteries TR-630 and TR-632.
