Description

This product features a design that incorporates a single spout for both filling and pouring. Its sealed lid is equipped with an automatic positive-pressure relief mechanism that activates between 3 and 5 psig (0.2 and 0.35 bar), providing protection against ruptures or explosions.

Constructed from premium coated steel, every can undergoes rigorous testing to ensure it is completely leakproof. Its durable powder-coat finish is chemical resistant and can withstand the rigors of extensive use. Each safety can comes with a stainless steel flame arrester to prevent flashback ignition by dissipating heat. Cans with a capacity of up to 1 quart (1L) come with a trigger-release handle, whereas larger cans feature a swing handle that simplifies the transport of heavy loads.

For pouring into smaller openings, it’s recommended to use a Type I safety can funnel. Made of polypropylene, this funnel is designed to fit the spout neck of Type I Safety cans of 1-gallon (4L) capacity or more. It has a two-position mechanism that allows it to fold down during filling or storage and remain upright during pouring. The funnel’s large, rounded bowl helps prevent splashes and spills, and its sturdy construction is built to withstand frequent use.
