The header safety is a device used to relieve high pressure build-up in a closed section of piping. If actuation pressure should get inadvertently trapped and should an increase in temperature cause the pressure to rise to a dangerous level, the burst disc in the header safety will rupture, allowing the pressure to escape. The header safety is available with 3/4 in. NPT threads.
