The ZetexPlus material used in Newtex gloves is a heavily texturized fiberglass fabric treated with a proprietary high temperature vermiculite coating. This coating allows heat to disperse evenly across the surface of the fabric, significantly boosting its heat resistance. This heat resistant glove can withstand temperatures up to 1500° F during longer duration applications and peak temperatures up to 2000° F. Extended direct contact with temperatures around 2000°F may damage these gloves.

• The oversized design allows you to quickly slip out of the gloves if your hands begin to get too hot. We use a wool liner on the interior for comfort and double-stitched industrial reinforced seams for durability.
• ZetexPlus uses fiberglass coated with our proprietary vermiculite to create inorganic high heat resistant that produces no hazardous outgassing. Our material is lead-free and asbestos free and is graded for heavy-duty industrial uses.
